01Do I need a paid plan to buy kits?
No — a free account is all you need to buy any kit outright. Paid plans give you monthly credits, which you spend to redeem individual sounds (not whole kits) from anywhere on rooot. So: kits = pay-once whole bundle, credits = cherry-pick the exact sounds you want.
02What happens to my sounds if I cancel?
Every sound you redeem stays yours forever. Re-download anytime from your library. Cancelling doesn't revoke previously issued licenses — see the full Sound License (sign in to view).
03Do credits roll over?
Paid plan credits roll over indefinitely with no cap while subscribed. Free plan credits hard cap at 10. Top-up credits never expire.
04What happens to my credits if I cancel?
You have 30 days to use your remaining credit balance. Top-up credits never expire — they're yours forever, regardless of plan.
05What do paid members get on the board?

06Are the sounds royalty-free?
