let the right sound
find you
the old way starts with search. rooot starts with emerging sounds and gets better with every play.
the old way starts with search. rooot starts with emerging sounds and gets better with every play.
every play, skip, like, and keep changes what comes next — in your feed and inside every kit.
plays, likes, comments, kits, and profiles show what's coming up while it's still early.
kits from producers building the scene, not chasing it.
every sound in a kit previews from start to finish before you buy. keep one with credits, or buy the full kit when the whole thing smacks.
new jazz, opium, glo, digital, slayr, underground club — and the scenes in between.
chop it, stretch it, layer it, play with it, ruin it, fix it — make it your own.
a loop becomes a beat. a beat becomes a demo. the demo becomes somebody else's starting point.
the part where we say it plainly.
rooot is a personalized sound feed and kit marketplace built around underground music. the feed brings you sounds you didn't know you wanted — and members hear every one in full. keep individual sounds with credits, or buy the full kit.
no. splice starts with a massive catalog. rooot starts with a feed that's yours — it changes with every play, skip, like, and keep. plays, likes, comments, kits, and profiles show what's coming up around the sound. we focus on underground sounds instead of trying to cover everything. the point: the right sound finds you before you go looking.
producers into new jazz, opium, glo, digital, slayr, underground club, and the scenes in between. you don't need to fit any of them. that's where our taste starts, not where it stops.
once you have an account, every play, skip, like, and keep changes what comes next in the feed and how sounds are ordered inside kits. use rooot for a while and your feed stops looking like everyone else's.
you can preview the top of the catalog with no account, and the top of every kit previews in full on its kit page — no snippets, no blind kit buys. start listening; your plan opens the rest, and you spend only when you decide to keep something.
most individual sounds cost 1–3 credits. listening on your plan uses none. unused credits roll over while you're subscribed. when you want the full kit, buy the zip outright; you don't have to rebuild it one sound at a time.
yes. drums, one-shots, fx, and vocals are royalty-free in your own music, including commercial releases. loops, MIDI, and stems require clearance with the producer after a track passes 1M streams or signs to a major. the full terms are on the license page.
anything you already kept stays in your library and remains available to download. the license doesn't disappear when the subscription ends. the plan pays for future credits, not continued access to sounds you already kept.
one feed, built for you. credits are for individual sounds. full kits can still be bought outright.
